Kumaresan’s research area include flight control, adaptive control and multi agent control with application to aerospace vehicles. Recent focus is on coordinated formation flying of micro air vehicles. This research is predominantly experimental which includes theoretical and numerical simulation. This research has culminated in successful formation flight trials. A key element of this research is the geometry preservation of the aerial vehicles during the coordinated formation flight.
