Six Degrees of Freedom motion platform
This is an electrically actuated 6 degrees of freedom (6 DOF) motion platform, capable of carrying a Pay Load of 1962 Newton (200 kgf). The platform uses the classic “Stewart” configuration of six electrical legs mounted on fixed bottom platform in a way to provide controlled motion in six degree of freedom to Top platform. The platform produces motion in any combination of the six spatial axes consisting of three linear (Surge, Sway & Heave) and three angular (Pitch, Yaw & Roll) by individually controlling the six leg extensions.
Achieving 0.7g acceleration and upto 3 hz motion frequency is possible under low amplitudes (3 deg angular and 20 mm linear)
