Rich experience in the Design & Manufacturing of Composite parts for Civil & Military Aircraft and developing innovative tooling for co-curing / co-bonding composite structures. More than twelve years of experience in composite materials and processing methodology. Knowledge of the processing of carbon-epoxy, carbon-BMI, and carbon LMPEAK (thermoplastic) materials systems using the autoclave-moulding process. Knowledge in the composite structural assembly technologies for teh development of aircraft structures.
Research Interests
a) Development of high-temperature-resistant composites
b) Development of airworthy thermoplastic composite products and their joints for Aerospace Applications.
c) Automation process development for layup process using Automatic fiber placement (AFP) system
d) Design & Development innovative tooling for co-cured composite products.

a) CSIR- NAL is being conferred with the ICERP- JEC- Award 2023 for Process Machinery / Equipment Category for ‘Indigenous Design & Development of Prepreg Tape Winding Machine with the capability of Varied Tape Width’, which was built by our team in-house.

c) CSIR-NAL received the JEC INNOVATION AWARD – JEC ASIA 2018 at Seoul under Aerospace-Structure Category jointly with ADA-DRDO for the development work of ‘Innovative Skin-Ribs Co-cured Engine Bay Door’ in my leadership.
d)Obtained Gold Medal from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore, for First rank in M.Tech (Engineering Design) at the university level for the academic year of 2008-2010.
