HANSA

HANSA is an all composite 2 seater trainer turboprop aircraft powered by Rotax914F3turbo charged engine. Specially suited forflying clubs and hobby flying, this aircraft was totally designed, developed and tested by NAL and certified by Director General of Civil Aviation(DGCA), India. DGCA have also ben launch customers for this aircraft and they have placed the aircraft delivered by NAL at different flying clubs across the country. One aircraft has been delivered to Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur for instructional and R&D purposes

All aircrafts produced so far have been integrated by NAL with limited outsourcing support. NAL has also been providing product support currently. Discussions are in progress with potential manufactures for transfer of technology, commercial production and product support.

  • Hansa-3 aircraft (VT-HOC) participated in the Aero India 2007 held at Bangalore, during 7th to 11th February 2007.
  • Hansa-3 aircraft VT-HOD participated in International Airshow 2007 held at Avalon, Melbourne, Australia during 20th 25th March 2007.
