 “National Conference on Scientific Achievements of SC/ST Scientists and Technologists NCSCST – 09” has been preponed from 22-24 April 2009 to 14-16 April 2009.  On the advice of many eminent personalities, a decision has been taken to inaugurate this conference on the auspicious day of Dr. B R Ambedkar’s Birth Day (14th April 2009).

As a part of NAL’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, a National Conference on Scientific Achievements of SC/ST Scientists and Technologists has been organized. The prime objective of the conference is to provide a platform for recognizing the noteworthy, important and outstanding contributions of SC/ST scientists and technologists in their fields of specialization towards the overall development of the technology base of the country and of the society in general.

This conference will also bring together researchers, scientists, academicians, and technologists who belong to the SC/ST communities, and also others, for a discussion and debate on the positive role played by them and also on how they could be enabled to play an even  greater role in the future

The conference will comprise of keynote addresses, invited talks and contributed papersfrom various Institutions, R&D Laboratories and Industries.
