Indian Society for Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering (ISAMPE), founded in September 1985, is a professional body dedicated to the promotion of Materials and Process Technologies in the country, with special emphasis on composites. It aims at establishing a scientific and organized approach to advancements and applications in the field through conferences, workshops, education, research, compilation and dissemination of information as well as training and interaction among the professionals from a wide spectrum of disciplines involved.  It’s major goal is to bring together R&D institutions and industry together.  ISAMPE, headquartered at Bangalore has local chapters at  Bangalore, Pune, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Hyderbad and Kanpur.
