Overview:

Covered positions are located along an interconnected series of pre-defined routes between the ingress/launch point and the hostage building.  The covered positions are spaced from 150 – 200m apart.  The covered positions are fixed and will not vary throughout the course of the event.  Each position is cloth fabric 4 feet high and 8 feet wide mounted between two poles.  The covered position offers protection from visual observation by the red team (terrorist) guards.  Each position can safely shield the commando team, and a UGV.
