3(G) Will any financial assistance be provided to those taking part in the demonstrations? |
Yes, the travel related expenses (including airfare, lodging and meals) of two members of each team selected to participate in the event will be paid by the event organizer. |
4(G) Will assistance be provided to offset any air freight charges associated with transporting equipment |
To assist in meeting any freight charges, a sum of Three Hundred U.S. dollars will be paid by the organizer to each team that is selected to take part in the demonstration. |
5(G) What is the local currency called? |
Rupee (Rs.). |
6(G) Is it easy to convert money into the local currency? |
Yes, there is a bank within the airport before exiting the customs area which charges little commission, besides there are several Automated Teller Machines (ATM) that dispense local currency against withdrawal using a credit or debit card. |
7(G) Is a visa needed for entry by a foreign national into India? |
All non-Indian Nationals, with a few exceptions, will need a visa prior to entry into the country. |
8(G) What kind of weather conditions can we expect to prevail in Agra when the event is held? |
Almost always pleasant, with the day temperatures around 27C (77F) and the minimum around 10C (50F). |
9(G) What if inclement weather sets in during the days when the aerial demonstrations are scheduled? |
The organizers will be getting up-to-date weather forecasts and, if necessary, will modify the schedules to complete all the events planned to the extent possible. |
10(G) Are participants allowed to come with their spouses/partners? |
Yes. |
11(G) Will the organizers indemnify any damage or injury caused during the demonstration? |
No; every team taking part in the demonstration will be required to show that they have adequate insurance coverage against third party damage, including indemnification for personal injury (or death) to any of the volunteers, such as the judges, and the observers. |
